In the heart of Emilia‑Romagna, Forlì Luigi Ridolfi Airport (FRL) is emerging as one of Italy’s fastest‑growing regional aviation hubs. With increasing passenger traffic, an enhanced parking management system became essential.
After a steady development period and its full operational restart in 2020, the airport identified the need for a modern, scalable, connected parking solution – capable of adapting to new travel habits, increasing traffic flows, and simplifying access for all users: travelers, ground handlers, mobility services.
HUB Italia designed and deployed an intelligent parking system based on the JMS Parking Management System. Via a centralized control‑room, the system optimally manages over 1,000 parking spaces across four lots (P0, P1, P2, P3), plus two dedicated service gates for airport staff and mobility services such as taxi, NCC and car rentals.
The installation supports multiple access and payment modalities, integrates advanced digital tools for pre‑booking parking spaces, and empowers airport operators to monitor parking performance in real time.
