As part of Blackpool’s ambitious regeneration program, HUB Parking Technology UK has delivered advanced parking solutions to two key sites in the town center: the newly built Blackpool Central Multi-Storey Car Park and the upgraded Talbot Road facility.
The projects mark a significant step towards digital urban mobility, introducing ticketless access based on License Plate Recognition (LPR) and HUB’s JMS management platform for seamless control and monitoring.
At Blackpool Central, a six-floor car park with over 1,300 spaces, now provides visitors with modern, efficient, and secure parking experience, featuring contactless payment, pay-by-plate functionality, EV charging points, and enhanced pedestrian access.
Following its success, HUB UK extended the same innovative approach to the Talbot Road car park, integrating flexible traffic flow management and centralized remote monitoring. Together, the two sites exemplify how municipalities can leverage smart parking technologies to enhance accessibility and community convenience.
